Buying and Selling

Any holder of property tokens can easily sell his tokens to other users on the Marketplace.

Regarding a purchase of property tokens, there are two different possibilities:

• If these are property tokens of an already successfully tokenized real estate, the purchase happens on the Marketplace with just a few clicks.

• If these are tokens of a newly listed property, a user may pay to book property tokens. If sufficient funds have been raised to purchase the property until the end of the listing period, the users who booked property tokens can freely claim them, forming a Property DAO. If the funding was not sufficient, the users can instead claim their payment back.

Currently, Binaryx allows a single user to own at most 5% of the property tokens of a single property. This is done to avoid manipulations of the Property DAO.
